I love being an educator and cheerleader! Coaching isn’t just a job for me; it is a way of life. It’s so rewarding to teach my clients new things, watch them master them and see them hitting goals they thought were out of reach. I also encourage all my clients to be open with me, from the workout to their mental/emotional needs. I want them to know I am more than a paid service in their life. I am a safe space and I care about helping them. I want to see them have success in the gym and outside of the gym.
I became a coach because I myself lost 100 pounds and wasn’t able to do that until I became educated and found real-world encouragement. Being able to support others to overcome their personal roadblocks and help them realize that they aren’t alone is the best feeling in the world. Once clients start to understand the process and really learn to take care of themselves, they fall in love with it. Their fitness changes, but more importantly their outlook on the world and how they see themselves changes, and watching that happen is the best thing about being a coach.
