As a professional soccer player and swimmer, I have enjoyed many years of sports. Although my clients' progress has always been my top priority during my 16 years as a personal trainer, after completing my Ph.D. in Sports Sciences, I have put more emphasis on functional exercises that help my clients do their daily activities easily and without any injuries. Using these exercises not only improves the quality of life of ordinary people, but also helps professional athletes simulate the movement patterns they use during competition and prevent injury. By focusing more on fitness components, especially cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, and body composition, and improving posture, my mission is to improve my clients' quality of life and athletic performance.

I’ve been into fitness for over 5 years now. I started out playing basketball, but somewhere along the way, I realized I liked working out more than actually working on my game. A big part of that comes from my dad being a bodybuilder, so you could say I was kind of raised into it. Pushing my limits, getting stronger, and staying consistent turned into something I genuinely enjoy (except for leg day). Now I bring that energy into what I do at Anytime Fitness, helping people stay motivated, build confidence, and actually enjoy coming to the gym. When I’m not in the gym, catch me outside hiking, walking, and exploring—rain, snow, or sunshine… it doesn’t matter, I’m out there.

Jana’s personal training and group fitness classes focus on core strength and balance. She brings over 7 years of experience in strength, endurance, power and high-intensity training to all of her sessions. Jana has training in Slovakia, her home country, as well as in the USA and now in Canada. She loves teaching group fitness classes such as Jumping, Taebo, Tabata, HIIT, Boot Camp, TRX Training and Circuit training. Jana’s love and passion for fitness and movement started as a little girl when she attended a dance school. She learned about posture and body alignment while working on flexibility and stability. In university, she competed and won many Aerobic competitions.
