Shannon has been dedicated to fitness for many years both personally and as a Personal Fitness Trainer. She has competed in various running events from 5 km to the marathon and has competed in triathlon events from the Olympic distance through to the Ironman. She obtained her Personal Fitness Trainer qualification from Canfitpro in 2011 and has been leading Boot Camp classes since then. She has also designed many running and triathlon training programs for various levels of athletes. Shannon is a firm believer that everyone has time to get fit, no matter how busy your life is, and the key is to keep motivated and have attainable goals. She keeps her workouts varied and challenging to ensure that her clients get the most out of the time they have committed to working out. Shannon's workouts range from body weight exercises, to weights, to balance and core exercises...with some running thrown in there, of course! She thrives on getting others excited about staying fit.

Ken grew up deeply involved in various athletic activities, with a focus and passion for hockey. He attended the University of New Brunswick and achieved a concurrent degree in Physical Education and Education. Once he graduated, he worked at a fitness club as a personal trainer as well as the manager. Following his fitness club experience, he moved on to be a teacher in physical education and was actively involved in coaching and training of high school athletes in various sports for 15 years. Ken has committed himself to a life-long journey of personal fitness and believes strongly that fitness can be built into your lifestyle. Ken’s approach is to meet you where you are at, and support you on your journey in achieving your fitness goals.

Fitness has been a huge part of my life. It is my PASSION! I love teaching variety and have many definitions for the word “delicious”. I am currently in my 28th year of teaching fitness and classes. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from owning, operating and managing both my own gym, Fitness 1st and Alley Cats Fitness Centre here in Perth. I am certified in many avenues such as: Cardio Aerobics, Cardio & Interval Step, Cardio Kickboxing, Pilates Mat Work, Spring Pilates, Pre/Post-Natal, Senior Fitness (gentle and fall prevention), TRX, RYT 200hr, Yoga Trapeze, plus some added fun with line dancing. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer. Strength and stretch complement each other quite well, allowing our bodies to find balance. BALANCE is the key. Variety is the balance. FITNESS, it looks good on you!!!

My Journey into fitness began at the age of 13 when I began playing soccer! After one year at the recreational level, I was asked to play for the top regional team and the following year I was playing for team Ontario. I was very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some top fitness coaches who not only motivated me but also educated me in helping me get to where I am today as a personal trainer and owner of Sauve Athletics Health and wellness Retreat. My career actually began at the age of 16! I worked as a fitness technician for curves for women for 4 years and then as a top level trainer at GoodLife fitness for 8 years! I fell in love with exercise and exertion very young and knew this had to be my livelihood! Here I am today excited and ready to add Anytime Fitness to my experiences and very excited to meet many new fitness enthusiasts!

Lori is an experienced and passionate yoga instructor! With over 20 years of practice and a 500hr RYT certification, she brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to her classes. Her connection to nature and diverse range of activities like skiing, cycling, kayaking, gardening, and farming infuse her teachings with a unique blend of vitality and groundedness. Lori integrates playful and funky movements into her classes, making them both enjoyable and challenging. Lori prioritizes creating a welcoming and inclusive environment in her classes, ensuring that every attendee feels comfortable and confident in their practice. This dedication to meeting students where they are on their yoga journey is key to fostering growth and self-discovery. Living in Perth and teaching at Perth Collegiate, Lori's roots in her community shine through. Lori's personal practice brings balance and tranquility to her life, which she generously shares with her students.

Andrew has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and began teaching 12 years ago. He has been to Mysore, India three times to study and practice Ashtanga, Hatha and Vivekananda styles. He also trained at Yoga Station in Carleton Place and Still Point in the Bay of Quinte. He enjoys sharing the knowledge he has learned with others and helping them to develop their own practice. The benefits he experiences from practicing yoga include calming the mind and increased flexibility while strengthening the body.

Growing up as a figure skater, I discovered a passion for physical fitness and good health. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Physical Education, I entered the fitness industry as an instructor where I found a love for working with people and inspiring others to make health and fitness a part of their daily lifestyle. As fate would lead me back to figure skating in the early 90’s, I began a coaching career of over 20 years and served as Figure Skating Director in Sugar Land, Texas. The tug in my heart to come home to Canada and be with my family offered me the opportunity to join the Anytime Fitness family. I am beyond grateful to be a part of the Perth community and to help provide our members with a supportive, warm and friendly atmosphere.
