I believe in learning continuously with a growth mindset. That is, having an unwavering commitment to
lifelong learning from various life experiences for the sake of self-betterment. Using these skills and my
education in Kinesiology I can help you navigate the complexities of the health and fitness world. I have
my Diploma in Sport Science and I am soon to be a Kinesiologist; as such I can work with you and your
goals whether they are sport-specific, functional or aesthetic. I will be able to modify and adapt a fitness
plan that will not only address your goals but also increase your functional movement capability.
My exercise philosophy, which stems from calisthenics and a love for alternative sports, is to help
people across all ages to express their bodies, sense of self, and identity through limitless movement. I
look forward to teaching fun, and engaging group fitness classes where we can break a sweat, feel

Hello! My name is Azam. I played competitive soccer for over 10 years, competing at the Canadian college level and I’ve been a personal trainer for over 4 years. With being a Club Manager and Personal Trainer for Anytime Fitness, my schedule is packed and prioritizing my fitness goals is definitely a challenge. However, since shifting my focus to Strength Training, I’ve been able to be add a considerable amount of muscle and improve my physique while being efficient with my time. Often times, it only takes a few minutes of exercise or doing a few hard sets to feel energized and focused again.

As a child and throughout my teenage years I grew up playing multiple sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Although I do not play these sports competitively anymore, my interest has shifted towards competitive Powerlifting and Bodybuilding. Being certified internationally with ACSM, and ISSA, I also hold a diploma in Sport Science and a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Coaching. I specialize in strength and conditioning, and bodybuilding. But I am also versatile in who I work with. Diving into these fields with interest has expanded my knowledge and experience when it comes to physical fitness and athletic performance. As a Club Manager and Personal Trainer for Anytime Fitness, I live a busy on-the-go lifestyle with a limited schedule. However, I make time to incorporate exercise and fitness into my daily packed schedule. It goes to show that no matter how busy your life is, you can always make time and a priority for your health and fitness goals.
