I used to play football until I found myself with a serious injury, which lead me to registering to a gym. It was there I realised that there are many benefits from the gym and it is not alone to do with physical appearance. After going to ballet school at the age of 16 and dancing professionally on cruise ships for 9 years, I settled back on dry land and qualified as a personal trainer. I divide my time between dance teaching and training with a particular interest in kettlebells and cardio.
