I began my fitness journey when I was younger, participating in dance and cheerleading. When I stopped those, I knew I wanted to stay active so I started going to the gym and lifting. I started to notice the changes, both physically and more importantly mentally, and my love for fitness grew from there. I received my B.S. in Exercise Science at Seton Hall University and became NCSF Certified in Personal Training. I also recently received my nutrition certification from Precision Nutrition. I am excited to share my passion for fitness and help individuals live, feel, and perform better in all aspects of life!

I started my fitness journey doing rhythmic gymnastics in preschool. Later on, I was practicing various styles of yoga for more than 20 years with different teachers and engaging in a number of exercise modalities - strength, flexibility, aerobics, Qigong, belly dance... Through all that experience, I've learned how to get stronger and more toned, at the same time staying feminine and graceful, as well as discovering how exercise can bring out cheerfulness from within, greater self esteem, help you feel more connected to your body, and have more energy than ever. Having a profound love for movement, vast experience and knowledge of how to ignite happiness from within through exercise, I felt a desire to share it with others. Therefore, I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and now love helping others to find their own unique way to exercise and lifestyle, that leads them to achieving their personal goals and brings joyous and fulfilling life!

Meet Art! Art grew up in New Haven CT and is now a resident of Killingworth, he's enjoying the small town life. He is married with one daughter and has two young grandchildren. He's been involved in Fitness his entire life and enjoys challenging himself and others. Art is retired from the Branford Police Dept. where he served for 31 years before retiring. During his career, Art held the rank of Lieutenant and served as Patrol Commander, SWAT Commander/ Instructor, Commanding Officer of the Detective Division, and also a Certified Police Instructor in numerous police tactics. Art is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Council on Strength and Fitness. He uses his self-discipline, enthusiasm, and his ability to motivate people to achieve their goals.

Hello! I am originally from Haiti, but moved to the United States when I was 8 years old and I have lived in Deep River CT since. In high school I ran track and was a part of the football team from Valley Regional. I’m a huge fan of basketball and football. My favorite teams are the Colts and Lakers! I am also currently working on a degree in business. Being active has always been a big part of my life ever since I was little, but my fitness journey began when I saw how being out of shape was affecting the health of my family. That is when I decided to take my health and fitness serious. My ultimate goal is to help and educate people on the benefits of staying active, and of course to help them achieve their fitness goals the right way. My moto has always been “get better today” because I always want myself and my clients to be better today than they were yesterday.

Sarah began practicing Yoga in 2001. Over time, she felt drawn to the path of Therapeutic Yoga— a modern combination of yoga’s traditional practices and the wisdom of contemporary science’s western psychology. Sarah is a Certified Yoga Teacher through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She is also certified in Mindful Trauma-Informed Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Women’s Health, and Yoga for Seniors. She is currently completing a comprehensive 500-hour teaching certification through Yoga Medicine. Sarah’s classes and private sessions are for students of all levels and yoga backgrounds. Off the yoga mat, Sarah enjoys making art in her studio at Farmington Valley Arts Center. She also enjoys gardening, traveling, spending time in nature, and deepening her studies in somatic health.

Meet Zach! He started playing travel and premier soccer at a young age all throughout his middle school & high school years. While being a part of these competitive teams it naturally introduced himself to the training side of fitness. He attended Thomas College, majored in sport management with a degree pending. After college, fitness consistently became a part of his lifestyle to stay healthy and active. The passion he has for fitness is a goal to help those to consistently stay in shape as well as put a smile on their face.

Meet Darren! He is from Syracuse, New York. Darren began his fitness journey freshman year of high school, where he played lacrosse and wrestled. He has been active ever since! Darren’s goal is to educate people so they can grow to be independent on their fitness journey. He is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, as well as an ACE Sports Performance Specialist. Meet Brad! He began his fitness journey as a wrestler at Xavier High School in Middletown, CT. Soon after, Brad became a North American Grappling Association competitor at the intermediate and expert levels. Being a part of various fitness clubs through most of his college years has made his love for health and fitness that much stronger. Brad has received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Senior Fitness Specialist. He enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities striving for health and wellness in their everyday lives. It is his passion to help people achieve their personal fitness goals in the most positive and uplifting environment.
