As a child athlete, I grew up with a strong connection to health and fitness. I became a personal trainer over a decade ago when I noticed more and more people struggling to maintain their health. Through my own struggles with weight gain, poor sleep, and injury, I have learned how nuanced the barriers to building a healthy lifestyle can be. That is why I connect deeply with my clients and treat their goals as my own. My promise is to make it easy for you to adopt fitness habits so you can reach your goals quickly in a fun, safe, and sustainable way.

Hi, I’m Jacky! I am from Taiwan and have been in the US since 2012 - this is around the time that I got into fitness. I love how fitness benefits our lives in so many ways; no matter where your physical status is currently, we can always improve it, and improve it in a sustainable way. Making a personal plan based on goals and availability, keeping track of your progress and making sure it’s enjoyable is of utmost importance. As your trainer, I’m also your biggest cheerleader. I believe in trusting and enjoying the process and taking care of your body as much as possible because it’s the only body you’ll have. I also believe that eating good food and staying fit is something that is completely possible and can be made very easy to do. Outside of fitness, I play sports, I love cooking, and I am currently teaching myself how to dance. I specialize in 1 on 1 training and am currently studying group fitness.

Over my 25 years of weightlifting, nothing has inspired me more or done more for my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. So much so that I left a lucrative career in tech to focus on helping folks learn how to move and lift and feel great about themselves. Born & raised in Seattle, I call Queen Anne home and love this wonderful community. I started lifting weights in 2013 after a broken foot left me on crutches for 4 months- and crushed my love for running. You can almost always find me in the studio room doing tricks with my jumprope- I invite anyone and everyone to come jump with me!!

I am a Seattle native having attended high school at Seattle Prep and then University of Washington (GO DAWGS!!). Playing sports from a young age, I started training with weights around 15 and stayed pretty consistent throughout my life. It has provided structure, positive reinforcement, and something secure and controllable in a world often anything but. I view fitness as a lifelong lifestyle and encourage those around me to find the right fitness recipe for them, and then stick with it....for the rest of their lives. We are meant to move.
