In 2008, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was told what I wouldn’t be able to do, what limits I’d face, and what I might lose. But I chose to fight. Through the combined power of fitness and family support, I didn’t just survive — I came back stronger. That journey taught me that fitness is more than physical. It’s about resilience, mindset, and reclaiming your life.I believe in training for life — not just for aesthetics. Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, gain confidence, or simply become a healthier version of yourself, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Hi, I’m Marissa — a personal trainer with 7 years of experience. I grew up doing gymnastics and started lifting weights at 15. Movement has always been a big part of my life, but for a long time, I didn’t have a healthy relationship with my body or with food. I thought the key to results was cutting calories and training excessively. What I’ve learned since then has completely changed my approach: real health and long-term results come from nourishing your body and moving with intention. This matters more to me now than ever — because of my husband, our son, and our daughter on the way. I’m especially passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and supported through pregnancy and postpartum. I know firsthand how much that matters — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
