My coaching style is positive, individualistic, and personable. I have my NASM certification and PPSC certification in Pain Free Specialist, focusing on science-based, research-based functional movements with an individualized approach. Weight lifting and hiking are my favorite ways to stay active. The best part of my job is seeing how clients progress and grow on an individualistic level while having a positive environment makes me excited to train everyone every single day. Something you should know about me is that I got my BS in Psychology at UW-Platteville. I am an avid flautist, artist (graphite and charcoal drawings), and rock/metal concert goer (Black Veil Brides is my fav!) . I love using creative outlets to unwind and keep my mind busy.

My favorite way to stay active and healthy is working out regularly and getting into the gym 5-6 days a week to strength train. I also enjoy running outside when weather permits. The best part of my job is getting to talk with all of the new members and seeing people achieve their fitness goals. I love sports, but my favorite sport is basketball. I was in education for 9 years before pursuing a career in health and wellness.

I also specialize in being that voice of reason when planning on giving something up you started. I will make you remember your why! My favorite way to stay active is going out running with my husky early morning to get the day started and working out at anytime fitness with my lovely fiancée. The best part of my job is genuinely impacting the lives of each member that walks through my doors by giving them the tools and access to every amenity they need to accomplish their fitness goals! It is the most rewarding part of being an Anytime Fitness family member. Something you should you know about me is that I was once 330lbs and struggling to find my path on my fitness journey so the level of empathy I have for my anytime fitness members is deeply rooted in my very own experiences. I am from Evansville WI where I have lived my whole life with Stoughton being so close the area is nothing new to me. Fitness has been a huge part of my life from the get go a part of soccer and MMA ever since I can remember. It didn't stop there as I went on to continue soccer through high school as my main sport and trying others like basketball, track and field and golf. Since high school I've been interested in nutrition and the role it plays in your fitness goals. I've been the manger here in Stoughton for some time now and I'm excited to see where this opportunity takes me and I'm also excited to see the role, I can play in helping others on their fitness journey!

Hello, my name is Steve Kurschner and I’m from Livingston, Montana. I’m the regional manager for gyms in North Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Washington clubs. I studied Exercise Science at Montana State University in Bozeman and health and fitness has been a huge part of my life since I was young. It’s super important to me for not only physical but mental health. I love working here because I get to help everyone on their fitness journey and make a difference in their lives.
