As life-long residents of Charlestown, Scott & Jill love their community and have a sincere desire to see its residents transform their fitness and nutrition lifestyles--for the better! Their hope is that members will thoroughly enjoy their membership and will never have a reason to join another club. Jill's fitness background includes playing basketball and softball for Charlestown High School in the late 80s, and was a D1 catcher for the Butler Bulldog's women's softball team. (She maintains that she was a "defensive specialist" in both sports; she couldn't shoot nor hit well.) Other than that, she simply loves engaging with people. She and Scott celebrated 25 years of marriage in June 2022 and have three wonderful children.

Joy earned her B.S. in Health Sciences from Gettysburg College in 2013. While there, she was a dual-sport athlete in Softball and Indoor Track where she broke the career hits record and still holds top-10 places in several offensive categories and track & field events. Upon graduating she became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and started her career at Anytime Fitness Frederick. After managing, training, and teaching at that club for three years, she decided to help open the Poolesville location as the club’s manager. In 2019, she joined the ownership team. Joy also holds certifications in Sports Performance Training and TRX and coaches several high school athletes during the summer. If not at the club, Joy is most likely spending time with her husband, Sterling, and 2-year-old son, August (Auggie). She and Sterling enjoy traveling, playing in their flag football league, and figuring out the whole parenting thing together.

Kim is co-owner and oversees the personal training program for our club. He is a physical therapist working in the Lafayette area doing in-home therapy visits. Kim often works with many of our members who are suffering from injuries or recovering from surgeries, showing them proper technique or simply helping them transition back to exercising...safely and without further injury.

KALANI PA, Owner/Operator/Trainer: Experienced, Certified Trainer since 2001 with 20+ years of fitness industry leadership. Kalani also has a BFA in Graphic Design from Arizona State University. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i, this athletic Kamehameha Schools graduate competed in many sports but excelled in Men's Gymnastics which lead him to become a NCAA Champion and Rings Specialist. His involvement in gymnastics continued as a National Level coach and judge until work called him to leave his island home. After relocating to Portland in 2010 with his wife and business partner Heidi, he left corporate life and became a franchisee. Philosophy: "I can accept failure; everyone fails at something but I can't accept not trying."-Michael Jordan.

I have been in the fitness industry for 30 years and in many roles in different gyms. I started out working at the front desk as more of a greeter, then attained my personal training certification to help people change their bodies. After 18 years of helping people with their health and fitness goals, I decided to open a gym to help more people with the help of a great team of fitness coaches. I now have 3 locations and it wouldn't be possible without the whole team; managers, part time staffers in the office and fitness coaches. I love the Anytime Fitness brand I am very fortunate to have amazing members. I will do my best to make sure the clubs are clean, provide quality equipment and create a culture that is inviting with a community feel. In 2019 I made a career change as I’ve discovered a love for Medical Aesthetics & have obtained licensure as a Medical Aesthetic Laser Technician specializing in Laser Tattoo Removal. I am very passionate about community outreach & deeply involved in Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking education, outreach and advocacy. Amber has worked in the fitness industry since graduating from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2007. She has worked in several different roles in the fitness industry, including personal training, group exercise, wellness coaching, and fitness management. With a background in dance and organized sports, Amber realized that strength training education was lacking for many individuals. Rather than focus on a number on the scale, she likes to focus on what the body is capable of achieving. She will help you set long term and short term goals, and figure out clear path to reach all of them. In her spare time, Amber loves to go on bike rides with her family and run. She has a goal of running a half marathon in all 50 states!

My husband, Rick, and I are originally from New Castle, Indiana. Due to his job, we moved to Scottsburg in 2006, and then to Dallas, Texas in 2015. We recently returned to Southern Indiana due to the birth of our first grandchild (our pride and joy), and are grateful and blessed to be closer to our children (whom we adore). I became a member of Anytime Fitness in 2015 when we moved to Texas—and I’m so glad that I did! Since joining the AF family, I have taken up running and l love it! I truly believe that the older I get the more important it is to keep my body in shape and my mind sharp. That is why I make the effort to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
