My name is Traci Shields. I am a mother of two very self-sufficient, pleasantly energetic boys. My educational background is in Human Relation Development, Micro Computer Applications and Programming. My husband and I are looking forward to getting to know our customer base and the surrounding community. We share a passion for increasing healthful awareness and I am very excited to share the many inspiring features of Anytime Fitness!
I have a huge passion for fitness and health. If I can help somebody change their life for the better when they walk through the door, then I have done my job right. I have a strong background in sports and fitness ranging from being a cheerleader, dancing, and personally working towards my own goals in the gym about 4x a week. I hope to compete professionally in some NPC competitions, leading further if it takes me there. I am here to help inspire and motivate people. My door is always open! I also am a dog mommy to a very spunky, and stubborn miniature dachshund named Oscar Meyer Taylor. Favorite quote - "You can either have results or excuses. You can't have both!" Favorite workout - Squats Favorite food - Cheeseburgers (OK, fine! chicken on a good day :-) )
My area of specialty is core and SAQ (speed, agility and quickness) training. Although, I also specialize in weight training to build and strengthen lean muscle mass. For me, the best way to impact a client's life is to have him/her understand the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. Having the client look forward to a session as opposed to looking forward to the session being over is my primary goal. Learning new things would have to be my favorite hobby. Through a book, documentary, one on one, or by trial and error. I don't have one favorite fruit. I have a few instead. Kiwi, strawberry, orange, banana, grape, plum and lemon. I absolutely do not like apples or peaches unless in a cobbler. I like bananas but nothing banana flavored. Finally, if I had to pick a specific exercise that I especially enjoy, it is the modified burpee.

I do my best to make each experience fun and exciting, but I'm also there to keep you accountable to your goals to be the best you can be, look amazing, and feel awesome!
