Andrew is a UConn graduate with a BS in Psychology. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and American Council on Exercise. He has over 12 years of experience training people and managing fitness centers. Andrew enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding in his free time.
With over 18 years experience as a small business owner, Scott holds a B.S. in Business Management and Marketing from Norwich University. A former EMT, Scott has a sincere a passion for fitness and helping people. His vision for our Anytime Fitness clubs is to impact as many people as possible toward leading healthier and happier lives.

Laura Beth Hayes has her A.S. in Sports & Exercise Studies as well as a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Charter Oak State College. Though not a certified trainer, she has knowledge of nutrition and exercise through her own experience and learning. She is also CPR & AED certified. She enjoys hiking, throwing a Frisbee, and is a former competitive softball player. Her passion in fitness is helping people learn new and better ways to lose weight and get strong!

Joyce Hyde earned her B.A. from UCLA and is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with 30+ yrs. fitness industry experience where she has served as a Trainer, Program Director, Single Unit and Multi-Site Mgr., V.P. & Independent Consultant. A former professional dancer and 3 time Ms. Fitness USA National competitor, Joyce is excited to join the Anytime team as Area Director for the West Hartford, Glastonbury, Cromwell, Ellington, and Somers locations.

Kim has her B.S. in Kinesiology / Fitness from California State University, Long Beach. She is our Fitness Director at the West Hartford location as well as one of our personal trainers. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and also holds their more advanced certifications; Performance Enhancment Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She has logged more than 7000 training hours so ask her for help!
Alex (our Italian Stallion) comes to us from UConn where he graduated with a B.S in Finance. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and he most recently got Functional Movement Screen Certified. When he’s not at the gym, he enjoys being outdoors with his family and friends laughing as much as possible! Alex is most likely to be at Anytime Fitness at any hour of the day and night, so feel free to approach him for anything you may need.
Emily comes to us originally from Wisconsin....yes she is a huge Packer fan! She has her B.S. in Exercise Science and her recently earned Masters in Exercise Physiology from UCONN, which is what brought Emily to us initially. She is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and CPR / AED Certified. We call her Master Moker, so feel free to approach her anytime!
Gabi is a Personal Trainer certified through ISSA. She also has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hartford. Originally striving to be a champion Graphic Designer, like her older brother, after graduation she found that her strength came through fitness. Gabi believes that with purpose, focus, and passion you can achieve your dreams. She wants to help you find your way to success.
Jake comes to us from Keene State University. He has his B.S. in Exercise Science and currently holds the National Strength and Conditioning Associations Personal Training Certification. He is engageing, motivating, and happy to help you reach your fitness goals!

Lee has is Bachelors in Music Education and has been working in fitness for over a decade. He is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and also holds their more advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist Certifications. Like all of our trainers he is CPR and AED Certified. A little known fact about Lee is that he has previously competed in Body Building, so feel free to ask him to see the photos! He is here to help so say hello when you see him in the club!
Michael Cunningham comes to us from a long background of wrestling. After completing a very successful wrestling career Michael began coaching the youth wrestling program in his hometown. The next step was an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification so that he could continue to help others in all aspects of fitness. Michael is usually seen helping people around the gym or on his motorcycle when not working. Feel free to stop by and say hello.
Robbie comes to us with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Human Performance from Central Connecticut State University. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM, and is Functional Movement Screen Certified. What makes Robbie unique is his experience working for Royal Caribbean through international waters in the sports and recreation department. His time on the ship has made his "accent" unrecognizable......despite the fact that he is from Connecticut! He is here to help so don'e hesitate to introduce yourself to him in the club!
Sarah is one of our Certified Personal Coaches that is not only an amazing Personal Trainer, but also an equally amazing Yoga Instructor. She has an AFAA Certified Personal Training Certification along with her 200 Hour RYT Power Yoga Certification. Her goal is to bring health and wellness to as many people as possible through fitness and yoga.
Shawn has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut, where he also played in Division 1 Womens Basketball. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certified from the NSCA.

A workout in itself does not get you to your goal; workouts built into a structured and progressive program that is custom designed for you by a professional Fitness Coach at RESULTS Driven Fitness will get you to your destination.
From the de-conditioned to the elite athlete, RESULTS Driven Fitness coaches at Anytime Fitness develop programs based on individual’s unique needs and goals for maximum results in the least amount of time.
Proper exercise is not only about moving, but also about correct form, tempo and resistance. Our customized programs including appropriate periodized changes to ensure continual progress and avoid adaptation (or ‘hitting a plateau’).
The first step is the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) in the program development process, to assess current levels of flexibility, stability and strength key to normal functional movement. Through this screening, individual limitations and asymmetries are identified, realistic goals can be set, so coaches can employ the most effective exercises and corrective strategies based on needs and goals.
Our fitness programs are designed to increase the body’s resting metabolic rate (RMR), to efficiently burn more total calories daily, even when not exercising. Our properly structured routines can enable you to burn extra calories up to 48 hours post workout, even while sitting at your desk job, or relaxing at the movies!
Both Private and Semi private offer customized programs based on individual goals and Functional Movement Screen results. Focus is placed on proper exercise execution as well as regular nutritional guidance. INCLUDES unlimited participation in Group Coaching and Yoga!
- One on One Private Coaching is designed for those requiring regular one on one attention, or prefer working in a one-one environment, such as someone who is new to training, has a number of limitations, or is particularly self-conscious working around others.
- Semi-Private Coaching is suitable for those more self-sufficient, with more gym experience, and enjoy working around others. Semi-Private involves one coach with up to 3 clients. Each client works on their own individual workout specifically designed for their goals, and progress, with monthly re-evaluation to adjust program progression when needed.
- Group Coaching: Included in private and semi-private coaching, or may be purchased separately
Group Coaching is a specific and progressive group training program that structurally changes every 4-5 weeks to avoid adaptation. Participants pre-enroll and get one 25 min. introductory visit with a coach. Group coaching workouts incorporate: dynamic and functional warm up, core exercise, strength, anaerobic finisher and appropriate stretches. Once enrolled, individuals may participate in any 60 minute Group Coaching Cardio or Group Coaching Strength as well as all Yoga, and Tune up classes on the roster. Class size can range from 5 – 15.
