Slow is the way to go! Super slow strength training may be boring to watch, but it's intense! Here are a few benefits: ▪️You have no momentum assisting you, so you gain more control. ▪️You perform with better form, which makes you less prone to injury. ▪️With your muscles under tension longer, your muscles are able to access the maximum number of cross-bridges between protein filaments. In other words, you build muscle faster. ➡️Try incorporating slo-mo training a few times/week: 5 reps, 5 seconds up and down. Ask one of our trainers which exercises are good for slo-mo training and what exercises pair well with them in a circuit. We're here to help! @lady_eleutheria
