Jonathan is a native to Southeastern Massachusetts having lived here all of his life. A recent graduate from Lasell College, Jonathan attained his Bachelor's of Science degree in Sport Management with concentrations in both law and business. When not working, Jonathan remains busy coaching high school football and basketball and training for future athletic and endurance competitions. He competed in his first Spartan Race in 2013 and hopes to generate club interest and participation in similar future events.
Abbie is obsessed with anything outdoors. Paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking and yoga are a few of her passions. These interests led her to a major in Physical Education with a concentration in exercise science at Bridgewater State University. Anticipating graduation this year, Abbie hopes to show people that fitness doesn't have to feel like work, but rather it fun and rewarding. She does this by matching clients with exercises they actually enjoy, leading to greater adherence, improved fitness levels and an eagerness to workout. See Abbie for sport specific training in any outdoor activity, including those addictive mud runs!
Jordan is a fanatic about exercise and incorporates it into his every day life including his career and recreation. A senior at Fitchburg State University, Jordan will hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science this coming May. He has participated in various 5k races including obstacle course racing and continues to train for additional races he will compete in in the future. His biggest accomplishment has been completing a 15 mile Spartan Race in Killington Vermont. He hopes to motivate and inspire people to improve their physical fitness and enjoy building a healthy lifestyle.
Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango, Jive, Quick Step, Waltz... These are just a few of the specialties Kate brings to the hardwood at Anytime Fitness of Dartmouth. Raised in Russia, Kate began dancing at just five years old. Throughout her years of dance, Kate studied and received a degree in Music and boasts professional dancing experience within her credentials. Kate is eager to apply innovative and creative twists on her Zumba classes and looks forward to working with all members regardless of their footwork!
Meet with Sylvia once and immediately sense her passion towards health and fitness. Her "lead by example" approach is backed by 30-35 miles of running and several miles of swimming each week! Serving 22 years in both the Navy and Air Force, Lieutenant Colonel Sylvia Friedman boasts an extensive background including management in cardiac care, trauma and emergency services. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Salve Regina and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University. An avid marathoner, Sylvia has competed in 8 marathons, placing among the top 8 women in 4 of the races. Having competed in dozens of 10K's, half marathons and marathons, Sylvia has also competed in several triathlons and an open water swim in the South Pacific. Sylvia joins the Anytime Fitness of Dartmouth team with hopes of inspiring others to pursue healthier lifestyles!
